Below are actions / involvements that will be taking place in September, October and November.

ASSEMBLY September, October & November Volunteer Actions

• OPLAMB Sunday September 23, sign up via SingupGenius.
• The Second Annual American Legion Post 187 Golf Tournament Tuesday October 16 at 10 AM, Brevofield.
• Sign up for “The Wall That Heals”, October 18-21.
• Marine Corps League continues to sell raffle tickets for their rifle.
• Marine Corps League Also plays Bingo at VA Hospital monthly.
• VFW conducting a raffle for a K-Bar.
• American Legion is raffling a gas grill.
• Warrior Transition Battalion (WTB) will hold their annual Christmas party December 14, 2018. At Ft. Bragg, supported by American Legion and VFW.
• Next flag raising is October 1st at the Wake Forrest town hall (11:00 AM).
• The next luncheon for Hospice at VA Hospital is September 19th.
• Blood Drive at St. Catherine’s Friday September 28th.
• “Public Safety Pipes & Drum Band”, bagpipers will be celebrating Celtic Traditions and commemorate the Centennial of “World War 1” on Saturday November 10th at Ravenscroft School.
• “Wags 4 Tags”, The next quarter auction is set for October 13th from 6-10PM. Wags 4 Tags is a wonderful local charity that unites our psychologically and emotionally impaired Veterans across North Carolina with trained Companions.
• Hurricane Florence, Drop off items at Father Price Council Thursday September 20th from 3PM to 9PM.
• CCC Report, September 28th opening ceremony for Special Olympics Equestrain Games, contact Matt Stein.
