BISHOP BURBIDGE’S FAREWELL MASS

Please join Bishop Burbidge for his last public Mass in the Diocese

of Raleigh. A Mass of Thanksgiving will be celebrated on Tuesday,

November 29th at 6:30 PM at Saint Michael the Archangel Parish

in Cary. Bishop Burbidge will be the Principal Celebrant and

homilist. A reception will follow the Mass.

Here are the full details for Bruce Willis’ funeral. Please attend if you can. Remember the admonishment from your first degree….No more compelling duty than the Support of the widow and children of a departed brother. I know more than FN Mike and I have regalia!

Worthy Sir Knights,

Our brother, Bruce Willis, passed away this week. Not only was he a brother Knight from Our Lady of the Rosary Council in Louisburg, and the Henderson Assembly, but he was also the father or Korri Eason who is the wife of our brother Ernest Eason.

The family has requested an Honor Guard for the funeral which will be held on Saturday, October 29th at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Louisburg. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral mass at the church. His remains will be placed directly following the funeral mass at Oakwood Cemetery in Louisburg.

CCC Tim Farley at 3440 in Henderson is spearheading, and would like Noon arrival for Sir Knights to organize.

Remember, if you don’t have Regalia, it is always acceptable to attend in Tux & Social Baldric to pay your respects.

I am working with the FN and the CCC at the Henderson assembly to provide a robust Honor Guard to pay our respects. I will forward updates as they become available.

Anyone who would like to go as an observer still is required to turn in a completed Dress Code form (attached) along with payment if they’re attending the banquet. I’ve also attached the instruction sheet with dates, times and fees listed. Please get them back to me by 10/15/16.

They always need as many current Sir Knights to help in regalia for the event, so if you are free on Nov 19….

As you were sadly informed yesterday, our brother SK Haden Ware has passed away. An Honor Guard has officially been requested. Please see below for the details.

I realize this is mid afternoon on a work day, and it’s short notice, but if you have any means to participate, please do so. Haden gave so much of his time to the Color Corps and to the Order for most of his life and asked for nothing in return. Lets do our best to show our thanks to him and support for Carol by paying our respects as members of his Honor Guard.
